conceptDecant Village 

Modular West had been asked by Hub North Scotland/CNES to investigate the possibility  to design and build a decant village to be used by pre-school, primary and secondary pupils during the period the new Castlebay school was being built.

Working with G+GA Architects and clients a brief was formed that meant this project would have consisted of 15 twin unit fully compliant classroom modules which, upon completion of the new school, will go on to become legacy items used in applications such as housing, offices and other community projects.

These units would comply with social housing standards and would also have been suitable for commercial use after initial decant period had ended.

Due to changes to overall project proposed decant option will no longer be required.
